On Aug.18th, our school held a meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control and the preparation for the start of fall semester of 2021 to convey and learn the spirit of relative superior meeting and study and deploy the work of preparing for the school opening in the new semester. The meeting was hosted by Huang Jianhang, party committee secretary and principal. Other school leaders and middle-level cadres attended the meeting.

Principal Huang Jianhang first organized the attendants to study the speech spirit of standing committee member Wang Qiang and deputy mayor Hong Bo in the video-teleconference on the deployment of school opening work for the fall semester of 2021 for the whole city. They also studied the requirements conveyed by Bureau director Qiu Ming. He stressed that all the cadres should further improve their political standing and strengthen their responsibilities to 100 percent ensure the implement of three hard standards required by the Ministry of Education for the students’ return to school in the fall semester. He required all the cadres to further sort out the work of pandemic prevention and control and the preparation for school opening in the new semester. They must make sure that nothing will go wrong, especially in the work of campus safety, management of key personnel, student vaccination, student mental health and student meals.

In the meeting, vice principal Pan Junyu gave detailed explanation on our school’s work plan for the return to school in the fall semester of 2021 and further specify the work duties and tasks for each department. He required all the cadres to give priority to the safety and health of all the staff and students. He called them on to overcome their paralyzing thoughts with determination and have thorough deployment of all personnel, the whole process and all-round to fully make sure that our school will open smoothly in the fall semester of 2021.
